Access 2007 Creating a Database Workshop
Build an Access database in a supportive learning environment. Each participant will create a database structure independently. At the end of each workshop day, participants will have the opportunity to perform independent work with the trainer/consultant available in the classroom (1-2 hours).
Recommended Preparation: Access 2007 Advanced or equivalent experience. Familiary with Visual Basic for Applications is helpful but not required.

Day 1 (8:30 – 4:30): Database design and table structuresDesign a database using principles of best practices. Build tables and relationships.
Day 2 (8:30 – 4:30): Form creationFinalize table structures. Create main forms.
Day 3 (8:30 – 4:30): Advanced Forms and QueriesAdd sub forms and build basic automation in forms.

Day 4 (8:30 – 4:30): Advanced Queries and ReportsCreate report queries, ad hoc queries and related reports.
Day 5 (8:30 – 4:30): Finalize DatabaseAdd main menu. Test database functionality. Troubleshoot errors.
