HTML Level 1 - Building Accessible Websites
Create a website; structure content; link pages; format text; add tables.
In addition to learning to create web pages in HTML, students will learn how to create accessible and usable web pages by following the World Wide Web Consortium Guidelines. Following these guidelines makes web content more available to all users, regardless of ability, equipment, browsers or environment. Students will also learn what special codes to add and design techniques to provide optimal access and usability. Content accessibility guidelines are integrated throughout the presentation.
Recommended Preparation: Windows XP Practical Computing Techniquesor equivalent knowledge. Internet Explorer 6 Basic or equivalent knowledge.
