Elaine has spent the last 24 years serving companies in the capacity of Corporate Trainer and Organizational Development/HR practitioner. Elaine has worked in a variety of organizations, including several financial services companies, a non-profit health services association, a Fortune 500 clothing retailer, family-run companies, medical device manufacturer, and the company that operates New York State’s healthcare reform platform. Elaine has lead the effort to bring quality programs to employees to meet the demands of an ever-changing business environment, and is, herself, the product of 13 mergers/acquisitions and three (3) start-up ventures, giving her keen insight into the skills that professionals need to adapt as an organization accepts new challenges.
Elaine has developed and delivered training programs in Leadership & Management Development, Diversity Awareness, Harassment, Change Management, Business Writing, Presentation Skills, Time Management and Communications, just to name a few. She has also played incremental roles in project management of major HR systems, performance management and process conversions. She has been active as a member of both national and local chapters of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), winning the 2009 Trainer of the Year Award and the 2014 Training Organization of the Year Award. She holds a B.S. in Communications from Ithaca College.
