John has a specialty in project training and consulting. He has worked extensively with clients on setting up project plans and using Project as a supporting tool.

John Dowley has more than 20 years’ experience in training and supporting users of various retail operating systems and other proprietary software tools. He is experienced in training for technical programs, as well as management and professional development courses, and has a strong reputation for his high quality course preparation and helpful, caring manner.

John’s experience also includes computer systems implementation and training for various point of sale and retail back office systems. He has 14 years of executive management level experience in human resources and retail operations. Among his accomplishments are collaborating in the creation of custom project management courses for the State of New York and the development of a course titled: Effective Time Management Using Outlook 2003-07. He has led scheduling system conversions, developed and delivered seminars for retail managers on corporate initiatives and change management, and presented sales training within the health insurance industry.

Additionally, John has extensive training experience in various software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, Internet search, Outlook calendaring and email, Windows, Project, PowerPoint, retail operating systems and other propriety software applications.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in English from St. Michael’s College in Vermont.
