Kathleen Pingelski is an owner of MicroKnowledge, Inc. She manages client accounts and new business development for the company, including oversight of large training rollouts. Kathleen regularly presents to customers, associations and community organizations on a variety of topics related to the use of technology in the workforce. Her technical experience includes development and delivery of numerous transition projects, including Office suite proprietary technology rollouts.

With more than 16 years’ experience in developing and delivering training to end-users and professional trainers, Kathleen has developed more than 100 computer training courses. She consults with clients in creating effective, efficient training plans for varying audiences within a single organization, identifying target skills and business processes, and then building training to meet those needs. She is an expert in several Office productivity suites and proprietary software applications. She also designs and delivers custom train-the-trainer, customer service and help desk training courses.

A graduate of Ulster Community College with an associate’s degree in individual studies, she also holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the State University of New York at Oneonta.

Kathleen is committed to giving back to the community and has served on several boards of directors. She is currently the president of the board for Circles of Mercy, a member of the Ellis Foundation Women’s Night Out Committee, and a member of the WERC event committee. She chairs the Tesago Elementary PTA newsletter committee and is a Miss Shen Softball assistant coach. She is a member of the American Society for Training and Development, the Executive Women’s Golf Association and the Leadership Tech Valley Class of 2010.

Under her leadership, MicroKnowledge was named a Capital Region Business Review Best Place to Work in, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
