President's Letter

Note from Kathleen Pingelski, President

Friends,

I want to issue a challenge to you. Stop what you’re doing and take 10 minutes (yes, just 10 minutes) and give some thought to what your team needs to improve its performance, become more efficient, and get better results.  It will be time well spent.

TeamworkWould learning how to read and interpret business metrics help? Could team members benefit from understanding project management concepts and tools? Would you like your staff to create advanced reports that could include charts and maps?  Imagine how much more you could accomplish if your new leaders acquired management and leadership skills, or an understanding of how to resolve workplace conflicts.  If they had the tools to help them better organize their time, tasks, and projects, would they feel more comfortable in meeting deadlines?

MicroKnowledge and our affiliate, ProKnowledge, can help with all of that! We offer a full range of training courses that address technical and more people-focused workplace skills to help bring your staff to their peak performance, and we can come to you!

Once you consider what your team needs, check out full course schedules offered at MicroKnowledge and ProKnowledge.  Select the course or courses that are right for you.  And, if you have a need that you don’t see represented on the schedule, please reach out to me directly via email or call our office at 518-786-1181.  It’s likely that we can develop a customized course just for you!

Be sure to mark your calendar for our upcoming Customer Appreciation session on September 21 on TEAM building, offered by ProKnowledge.  Employee retention is a priority for all organizations, large and small. Join us for an interactive session on building a team through employee activities and engagement.  Spaces are filling up, so register soon!

This month’s Community Matters column features another organization that is providing much-needed training to community members and organizations.  SEFCU’s Institute for Financial Well-Being is providing education on key financial concepts – at no cost to participants – to help guide and encourage people to focus on achieving personal economic stability and financial independence, with a goal of increasing their capability to make sound financial decisions and to build positive financial habits. The Institute was developed by and is under the direction of MicroKnowledge’s founder, Beth Coco.

Don’t forget to spend those important 10 minutes considering the training that could take your team to the next level. And be sure to contact us about how we can help!

Sincerely,

Kathleen Pingelski
President
