‘Tis the season to be grateful and the MicroKnowledge team is grateful for all our clients and friends in the community who attended our 30th anniversary celebration in October. We had a great turnout and celebrated our history as one of the first technology companies in the Capital Region.
At our anniversary celebration we announced our triple play donation: The MicroKnowledge and ProKnowledge teams are donating a marketing pull-up banner to Circles of Mercy in Rensselaer, a series of professional development training sessions for the YWCA staff in Troy, and baby supplies to Unity House, also in Troy. Read more about these wonderful organizations in this month’s Community Matters.
Our team has been on the road in all parts of New York State recently. Eleonora was in Ithaca delivering Drupal training and John and Elaine traveled to Garden City and New York City to deliver Outlook Time Management training and sessions on Engaging and Retaining Customers. Lisa has been staying local sharing her expertise on Access and SQL. And Paula will soon be in New York City and Buffalo in the same week delivering a customized MS Access and Excel training session for a New York State agency. We’re a small team, but we have a huge impact and cover a lot of geographic area.
We are in the process of conducting our strategic planning for 2017. Is there a specific topic you would like to learn more about in one of our Customer Appreciation Sessions? We are preparing the schedule for our series of no-cost sessions and also developing new courses that you and your team are looking for to increase your skills.
Just in time for the holidays we are featuring a great article from cnet.com with a list of recommended technology gifts in our Try This, It Works section. Anyone of these would be a great gift for a technology person, or a MicroKnowledge team member!
We hope you’ll get a jumpstart on preparing for the new year by joining us at one of our training classes soon. Best wishes for a happy and healthy season for you and your family!
