Training Files

Download training files used in your classes at MicroKnowledge by following the links listed below.

Instructions for downloading and saving the files:

  1. Click one of the links above to the appropriate software company or training topic.
  2. Click the link to software package.
  3. A page with all related downloads for the software appear
  4. Training files are located under the heading Student Data with the link below: Complete set.
  5. Click on Complete Set. The Save File dialog box will appear.
  6. This is a compressed file which contains all the files used during class.
    • Firefox users - given only the option to Save the file to the default download location.
    • Internet Explorer users - given the option to Run or Save the file. If Run is selected, a security warning appears to allow the program to continue. If Save is selected, navigate to the location the files should be saved
    • TIP - note name of file being dowloaded.
  7. Exit the browser and navigate to the saved file.
  8. Double-click the file name.
    • If a screen appears showing Security Warning, click Run
    • The WinZip Self-Extractor window appears.
    • Click Unzip to extract the training files to the default location:
      C drive, Student data.
      OR
    • Click Browse to extract the files to a location of your choice. An alert window will appear confirming that the files were successfully extracted.
  9. Close the WinZip Self-Extractor window.
